Shipping & Policy | SHIPPING
We offer free shipping within the 48 contiguous United States, as long as the product (s) you order are less than 90" wide. For orders which are larger then 90" there will be a $70.00 charge per manufacturer. Most orders are shipped within 7-10 days from time order was placed. We do not ship outside the lower 48 contiguous United States
MULTIPLE SHIPMENTS
Different types of window treatments are often made in different manufacturing facilities. For the fastest delivery, we ship each product to you as soon as it is ready. That way, you'll have your order as soon as possible. If the window treatments are coming from different manufacturers and they are oversized there will be a $70.00 charge per manufacturer.
SHIPPING CARRIERS
Products are automatically ground shipped by our manufacturers via UPS or FedEx with the exception of those that are either greater than 90 inches. Oversized products will be delivered by a common freight carrier and may take slightly longer for delivery. Freight carriers provide curbside delivery only. Customers may be responsible for additional charges for special delivery requests such as in-home delivery, remote area delivery etc.
RETURN POLICY
All of our products are custom made to your specifications and cannot be canceled once your order has been processed; therefore we have a no-return policy. Make sure your measurements are correct before you place your order. DAMAGE DURING SHIPPING
It is your responsibility to check and make sure all packages received are damage-free and if they are not you need to have the delivery person note that they were you received damaged and you need to notify us within twenty-four hours. We will handle the claim for you with the manufacturer.
WARRANTY
Limited Lifetime Warranty – products are backed by manufacturer lifetime warranty. This warranty covers any products will be free from defects in materials or workmanship of the lifetime of the original purchaser as long as the product is measured and installed in residential dwellings according to manufacturers product instructions. This warranty does not include any conditions resulting from damages caused by accident, alterations, misuse, abuse, motorized devices, or failure to adhere to proper maintenance.
This warrant is exclusive and in lieu of all other obligations, liability or warranties, expressed or implied including without limitations the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Better Blind Store be liable or responsible for incidental or consequential damages or for any other direct or indirect damage, loss cost, expense, or fee. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so this exclusion may or may not apply.
COLOR ACCURACY
Although we do our best to make sure that the colors printed on our web site are accurate, actual colors will vary. In addition, subtle color differences and textures may not be fully appreciated on some systems due to differences in monitors and/or display cards. Due to the fact that our products are all custom made, and can't be returned, you need to be sure that you can live with any color variations that are possible from our scanning of the actual samples. If an exact color match is required, then please request a sample before placing your order. Once you receive your sample, keep in mind that all samples may still have minimal color variations as stated by the manufacturers. In addition to the above considerations regarding color, we'd like to suggest that you order all of your blinds of a given color at one time. There are sometimes slight variations between dye lots. | PAYMENT OPTIONS
Since all window treatments from Better Blind Store are custom made to your specifications, all orders are paid for when your order is placed. Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted online. Cashier's checks, personal checks and money orders must be mailed to our office before your order is started. All orders paid by check will require a holding period of 5-7 days for your check to clear before the order will be put into production.
CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS:
Our products are custom made to your exact specifications, therefore they are not suitable for resale in the ordinary course of business. Please make sure of your purchase decisions prior to finalizing your order. We place your order with the manufacturer and automatically charge your credit card for the total sale price, including shipping, immediately after you complete your online order. Unless there is a delay in placing your order because we need additional information from you, an order received from you for in stock materials before 4 P.M. Eastern Standard Time will normally begin production by the next business day.
Cancellations and Changes – Normally changes cannot be made to orders once they are placed. We will do everything possible to try to get your order stopped if there is a problem but only within the first 12-24 hours and we must be notified immediately. This is not a guarantee that the order can be stopped if it has already been started in production. No refund will be made if the order has been entered into their production.
BACK ORDERS/OUT OF STOCK
On extremely rare occasions there may be delays caused by out-of-stock materials, shipping delays, temporary factory overload, holidays, or other factors beyond the control of Better Blind Store and associates. In the event of a known delay, when the manufacturer contacts us you will be contacted that day. Better Blind Store reserves the right to reject any order, at its discretion.
DISCONTINUED OR BACK-ORDERED ITEMS
Better Blind Store has no control over products that are discontinued or placed on backorder by the manufacturer. Better Blind Store will make every effort to remove discontinued items as soon as we are made aware of them and will notify you whenever we receive notice of any backorders.
Applicable Law
This site is created and controlled by Better Blind Store in the State of Virginia, USA. As such, the laws of the State of Virginia will govern these disclaimers, terms and conditions, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of laws. We reserve the right to make changes to our site and these disclaimers, terms and conditions at any time.
